Dials Oil temperature
The engine oil temperature display is an important safety aspect in turbocharged engines.
In order not to have to install additional displays, I replaced the standard battery voltage display with an oil temperature display.
For this, the dial must be replaced.
Of course, this only makes sense if all dials, including the one on the main speedometer, are replaced.
A combination of old and new luminous foils would inevitably result in differences in brightness.

To convert to oil temperature, some modifications to the measuring instrument are necessary.
On the vehicle itself, only a temperature sensor and a single cable from the sensor to the additional speedometer need to be installed.
For this conversion, it is necessary to send both speedometer housings in for conversion. All dials are replaced with new ones and all displays are calibrated.
This also significantly reduces factory tolerances of up to 10%.
