fuse box (CEB)
The fuse box, also known as CEB for central electrics box, is very vulnerable when high currents flow.
Often individual power consumers suddenly fail, usually these are large power consumers such as:
-Fuel pump
-Heater fan motor
-Headlights
The cause is often cold solder joints within the CEB.
Since the ZEB is soldered in two layers from 2 circuit boards, repairs are often very difficult and can only be carried out with a great deal of time.
A bypass is often the easiest way to avoid such interruptions. To do this, a circuit diagram is used to check exactly where the interruption is and then a bypass is created using a cable.
Such work should only be carried out by an experienced vehicle electrician. The risk of cable fires is very high if the work is carried out incorrectly.

Before considering the CEB as the source of the error, it should be carefully checked whether a relay, cable or fuse is simply defective.

The faulty solder joints can be seen very clearly in the picture below right. These bubbles often form when the solder joint cools down due to contamination or moisture in the material.

Since the same side of the board is always affected, it is likely a manufacturing problem.
Replacing it with a new (used) part usually doesn't help for very long, because due to their design, all CEBs are affected.

Overheated connection for the power supply of the interior fan.
Such damage inevitably leads to an interruption of the power supply.
